We understand our responsibility to our guests and staff and out need to support our front line workers and our community during this year of the pandemic. We have initiated differences both in the way we operate and in our cleaning systems in order to meet the challenges we have all faced this year.
Operations
During the summer months, guests will enjoy breakfast with tables placed a safe distance from each other. In the case of a larger group where safe distancing is not possible, breakfast will be served to the larger group either in the common room, the outer deck, or be delivered to their room.
From October 1 to May 15 we will not be providing breakfast. This time is a self catering option only. To fully protect your safety, only one bubble is permitted in the B&B during the off season.
In the past sweet treats were available at any time in the common room. During this season, treats will be left in your room upon arrival.
Our guest library is available. We provide gloves for pursing books and any books that are read or touch without gloves are bagged and put into the box by the library for sanitizing and to be returned in 2 weeks.
Guests feeling unwell prior to arrival can cancel without penalty. The cancellation fee is waived only if you contact us as soon as you have made the decision to cancel.

Changes in Cleaning
All mattresses are wrapped to protect from virus and other bed visitors.
After cleaning, all areas that have the potential for virus transfer, are sanitized either with sanitizer sprays, steam, or a combination of both.
As has always been out policy, our duvet covers are washed after every guest to ensure cleanliness.
Common areas will not have cutlery, glasses, or utensils. Coffee mugs and glasses will be left in rooms. Other dishes are available at anytime from the sun room. These can be returned to the sun room for exchange and we will ensure they are sanitized.
Games: ping pong mallets, bocce, croquet, darts, and board games are available upon request. They will be sanitized and put aside after use. The snooker table will be available and both hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes are available by the table.
The Hot Tub has a UV light, and Ozinator, and Bromine to ensure your safety. It is serviced daily.
The Finnish sauna, well, it is really hot. If I can't stay for more than 10 minutes, I can't imagine a little Covid surviving. We ask guests to sit or lay on the towels provided in their room while using the sauna.
All common areas are cleaned and sanitized daily. Disinfectant spray, disinfecting wipes, and hand sanitizers are available in all interior common areas.
As per the government regulations, rooms will not be serviced during your stay. We are happy to provide more amenities, or exchange fresh towels for wet at any time.
