The Wild Room & The Pacific Room - What a View!

hese ocean front rooms overlook an awe inspiring view of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy your view from the warmth and privacy of the room or sit outside on the private covered patio with its teak bistro table and chairs. The patio, which is stamped and stained concrete, designed by Chris Georgiani, is perfect for private breakfasts or a romantic evening nightcap. Watch the sunset or the reflection of the moon off the water with a candle and a bottle of wine.

Both rooms have queen beds with mattress heaters to preheat the bed on those blustery days and down comforter to snuggle up in. The sofa is a great place to enjoy a good book from the library in the common room or unfold it to create a comfortable single bed. Eco towels, Comphy sheets, and Aveda shower gels have been chosen to pamper guests while also being kind to the environment. While we respect the environment, we put cleanliness first and so wash all duvet covers between guests. These rooms have a tub/shower combination bath.

The Wild Room is inspired by the animal textures of Ralph Lauren pillow cases, the Owl prints of Jack Shadbolt and the photography of Chris Gray. The Wild room has a large, private spacious bathroom that is not in the room but rather just two-steps across the hall. This room is the one chosen by folk who wake up at different times and do not want to disturb their partner by the sound of the shower in the morning.

The walls of the Pacific Room are decorated with the whimsical coastal art of Rie Munoz, a mask carved by Judy from local cedar, fabulous found beach treasures, and a map of the many ship wrecks along this coast. Comphy sheets welcome you to bed where there is a selection of pillows for you to select just the right softness. This room has an en suite bathroom within the room.

tep into the radiant warmth from the artfully stained concrete floor of this gorgeous, 500 square foot, self contained suite. Three large prints by Sébastien Correia inspired by tree roots delight the eye and the imagination of the viewer. The greens and browns of the floor lead you like a trail through the luxury of the interior and out to a wooden deck and the cedar deck chairs overlooking the ocean. The room has a magnificent canopy queen sized bed with a mattress heater to preheat your bed on blustery days and a sofa in the sitting area that folds into an extremely comfortable queen bed. Both beds have down duvets to snuggle up in.  Duvet covers are always washed between guests.

The skylight in the bathroom shines down on a shower tiled with river rock that gives a soft massage to your feet as they step on the running water. The vessel sink sits on a concrete terrazzo countertop inlaid with lapis lazuli. To pamper guests, while being kind to the environment, Eco towels and Aveda shower gels grace the bathroom while Comphy sheets ad luxury to the bedding.

The Lazy boy recliner in the sitting area looks up past the raised cedar ceiling through one of three skylights into the forest canopy or the nighttime stars. The dining room table seats four and looks out onto the bay framed by the tall trees whose branches have been selectively removed to enhance the view. The kitchenette, with its terrazzo concrete and cedar counters is stocked with utensils and dishes for dining in and is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. A barbecue with a side element is provided for your use on the patio overlooking the ocean. On this patio there is a teak dining suite nestled into a summer flower garden where the view of the ocean is guaranteed to take your breath away.

Join fellow guests in the common room for a game of pool or remain secluded within your 500 square feet of private space. There is a TV and DVDs for entertainment or choose a music channel to set the mood for your evening. For breakfast enjoy the company of fellow travelers, or have breakfast delivered to your suite or to your upper deck overlooking the ocean. Because this suite is separate from the rest of the B&B and the house, it is very private and you could sing opera without a soul hearing you.
