The Pacific Room

$125 - $160 per night plus GST

hese rooms boast an amazing view of the Pacific ocean from the warmth and privacy of the room or by enjoying the view while sitting on the private covered patio with it’s teak table and chairs. The patio, which is stamped and stained concrete designed by Chris Georgiani, is designed for private breakfasts or a romantic evening nightcap. Wrap up in the plush terry towel bathrobes provided and watch the sunset or the reflection of the moon off the water with a candle and a bottle of wine.

Both rooms have queen beds with mattress heaters to preheat the bed on those blustery days and down comforter to snuggle up in. The sofa is a great places to enjoy a good book from the library in the common room or unfold it to create a comfortable single bed.

The Wild Room is inspired by the animal textures of Ralph Lauren sheets, the Owl prints of Jack Shadbolt and the spotted back of the loon represented in the carving of Fred Smith Sr. and the art print of Paul Rankin. The Wild room has a private spacious bathroom just two-steps across the hall. This room is the one chosen by folk who wake up at different times and do not want to disturb their partner by the sound of the shower in the morning.

The walls of the Pacific room are decorated with the whimsical Coastal art of Rie Munro and a bright duvet by Tommy Bahama welcomes you to bed. There is a private bathroom within this room.

tep into the radiant warmth from the stained concrete floor of this gorgeous room. Three large prints by Sébastien Correia inspired by tree roots delight the eye and the imagination of the viewer. The greens and browns of the floor lead you like a trail through the luxury of the interior and out to a wooden deck and the cedar Adirondack chairs overlooking the ocean. The room has a magnificent canopy queen sized bed with a mattress heater to preheat your bed on blustery days and a couch in the sitting area that folds into an extremely comfortable queen bed. Both beds have down duvets to snuggle up in. The Lazy boy recliner, in the sitting area, looks up past the raised cedar ceiling through one of three skylights into the forest canopy and beyond. The dining room table seats four and looks out through a curtain of trees onto the ocean. There is a kitchen with terrazzo and cedar counters that is stocked with utensils and dishes for dining in and is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. A barbeque is provided for guest use on the patio overlooking the ocean. There is an LCD TV on the wall with a DVD for enjoying the movies provided. The shower is tiled with river rock and the Japanese style sink sits on a terrazzo countertop inlayed with jade. Because it is separate from the rest of the B&B and the house, this room is very quiet and you could sing opera without a soul hearing you. Join fellow guests in the common room for a game of pool or remain secluded within your 450 square feet of private space.
