Pecan Waffles
1-½ cups flour
¼ cup buckwheat flour
2 tsp. double acting baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 Tbl. Sugar
Sift together
3 eggs – if you want them fluffy you can separate the eggs and add the stiffly whipped egg
whites at the end

4 Tbl. salad oil
2 Cups buttermilk
Mix and add to the dry mixture just enough to mix.
Place in heated waffle iron and sprinkle chopped pecans over before closing the lid. Cook for about 5 minutes.

Serve with hot berry mixture

It’s nice with the flax muffins
